Struggle to make your mascara or eyeliner look nice? Don’t worry, we’ve all been there (at least I can relate). No more gatekeeping, I’m going to share some of my tips on how to make your eyes pop out ✨

πŸ‘οΈ Curl Your Lashes

Before mascara you NEED to curl your lashes to get that VOLUME. And remember to NEVER curl straight after mascara because your lashes will stick to the curler and rip out (trust I know someone who did). You can get curlers from almost anywhere like Primark, Superdrug, Boots etc.

Steps:

  1. Make sure you coat all of your lashes, especially the ones in the corner of your eyes.
  2. Make the lashes on the ends the longest, and build up your coats! Make then look even.
  3. When applying, first coat all of them normally then when you build up your coats do a lil shake with the wand as you go up, trust the process!
  4. Lastly, add mascara to your lower lashes to make your eyes POP!
  5. Repeat on the other side- use your other hand or the same, do what feels comfortable to you!

Doing the other eye is trickier but as you practice you’ll get better! Looking for mascara? Try Mayebelline’s Sky High Mascara.

✏️ Eyeliner

Steps:

  1. Hold your eyelid with one hand and get a gel eyeliner and apply it to the waterline- this makes your lashes look fuller
  2. Grab an eyeliner that says Kohl and make a dot with it at the end corner of your eye and flick it out
  3. Get an angled eyeliner brush and flick out the eyeliner until you start to form a small wing
  4. Lastly, get a liquid eyeliner, close you eye and place it on top of your lashes and make small strokes as close to your lash line as possible
