Have curls or waves but don’t know how to build up your routine? I’ve got you; it took me a LONG time to actually figure out my hair type then build a wavy hair routine but I’ll share mine so you can skip the wait!

1. Get your hair DRIPPING wet

A continuous spray bottle will help you to keep on getting your hair wet which makes your hair less frizzy.

2. Brush your hair with a detangle brush

This is the ONLY time you will be brushing your hair so make sure you get all the knots out. You can gets these from shops like Savers!

3. Leave in Conditioner

Focus on adding this to the mid-lengths or your hair- the parts that need the most hydration. Try Not Your Mother’s Curl Talk Defining Cream.

4. Curl Cream

Distribute through all of your hair, even front pieces. Try Aussie Curls Treatment.

5. Volumising Mouse

Don’t be afraid to add this to your roots! It adds volume to your whole head that way. Try Cake Beauty Volumizing Mousse.

6. Gel

7. Microfibre Towel/ Old Shirt

Scrunch your GENTLY hair with either one of these but NEVER use a regular towel, it makes your hair frizzy.

8. Diffuse or Air Dry

If you want to diffuse, add the diffuser part to the front and diffuse in the direction of your curls and be gentle. Try Laifen Hair Dryer.

9. Hair oil

Scrunch in hair oil when your hair is completely dry and you can reapply this the next day. Try Pantene Pro V Keratin Protect Hair Oil.
